We both grew up in the Ann Arbor/Saline area. Ruth, after having spent many years in the corporate/administrative world, was looking for a more rewarding profession where she could make a difference. Buck, a pilot with Delta Airlines, was looking for something they could do together when he was not flying. The solution was Bark Busters!

2. How to be the Top Dog

Your dog wants to please you – he just doesn’t know how. He/she thinks they have to be the Top dog, protecting you and keeping you safe. When your dog relinquishes this role, he/she will become a much calmer, well behaved dog.

3. We train dog owners not dogs

Most mis-communications occur because dog owners don’t have the right tools to get their dogs to behave. That’s where Bark Busters Southeast Michigan comes in. We will come to your home where most of your dog’s issues will occur and where your dog can stay focused on learning. We will develop a one-on-one customized plan for your dog that address his specific behaviors. We only use positive, pet-friendly methods such as voice tones, body language and praise when you dog responds to you.
